Why SubSplit asks for Google access
SubSplit helps users track recurring subscriptions. Google Sign-In is used for account access. Gmail access is optional and read-only, used only to detect subscription-related emails when you start a scan.
Full data practices are published in the Privacy Policy. Terms are available at Terms & Conditions. Both pages are public and do not require login.
Frequently asked questions
How does SubSplit detect my subscriptions?
When you connect your Gmail account, SubSplit scans billing receipts and renewal emails using a strict allow-list of known services. Nothing is auto-added — we show you everything we found and you confirm what's yours.
Is my email and financial data safe?
Yes. Access is read-only, encrypted in transit and at rest, and used only to detect subscriptions. We never sell or share your data, and you can revoke access anytime from Gmail's security settings.
Can I add subscriptions manually?
Absolutely. You can add any subscription by name, amount, billing cycle (weekly, monthly, 3 / 6 months, yearly), currency and category. Perfect for services billed via UPI, cash or partner apps.
Does SubSplit support multiple currencies?
Yes. Each subscription keeps its original currency, and your home view totals everything in your default currency using up-to-date conversion rates.
Will I get notified before renewals?
Yes, that's the whole point. You can choose to be reminded 1, 3 or 7 days before each renewal — per subscription or as a default.
Is SubSplit available on iOS?
