Delete Your SubSplit Account
You can permanently delete your SubSplit account in the Android app or request deletion by email. Deleting SubSplit does not cancel subscriptions you hold with other companies.

1. Delete Your Account in the App
Open SubSplit and go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Delete Account. Review the warning and confirm deletion while signed in. This is the fastest way to delete your account and account-linked data.
If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, use the email request process below.
2. Request Deletion by Email
Email dhruv.sathe11@gmail.com from the email address connected to your SubSplit account. Use the subject “SubSplit account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing it.
Do not send your password, one-time code, access token, payment notification text, or other secrets.
3. What Deletion Removes
- Your SubSplit authentication account and profile.
- Your stored subscriptions, renewal settings, and personal confirmed expenses.
- Your historical Gmail Scan jobs, candidates, message-processing metadata, diagnostics, and correction history.
- Your FCM notification token and other account-linked service data.
- Local SubSplit account data when deletion is completed through the in-app flow.
4. What May Remain
If you previously participated in a shared split ledger, shared group, expense, participant, settlement, and activity history may remain for other group members. Your direct phone identifier is replaced with a one-way deletion pseudonym, and your member name and photo are removed; shared descriptions, categories, notes, amounts, and timestamps remain. The deletion flow may also retain the deleted authentication UUID and a one-way email hash in a service-role-only churn record. When present, no automatic deletion period is currently configured for this record; email dhruv.sathe11@gmail.com to request its deletion. Previously uploaded PostHog analytics and Firebase Crashlytics records are not automatically erased by the in-app deletion flow and remain subject to provider retention controls. Contact us if you want us to process another related data request.
5. Third-Party Subscriptions Are Not Cancelled
Deleting your SubSplit account removes data from SubSplit. It does not cancel, pause, refund, or change subscriptions or payments you have with Google Play, streaming services, software vendors, banks, UPI apps, or any other third party. Cancel those directly with each provider.
